Abstract

Marking experiments using phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) and Concanavalin A (ConA) have suggested that the first cleavage plane is related to the point of sperm entry. Because of concerns about the specificity of lectin binding, the distribution of sperm components has been investigated directly.
