Abstract
High speed motion pictures have been found to be extremely useful in studying the motions of various types of mechanisms, especially transient high speed motions. Modern electronic devices have contributed new methods of producing accurately controlled light flashes of extremely high intensity so that now pictures may be taken by reflected light at rates up to several thousands per second. Keywords
