Abstract
In recent years there have appeared in medical literature reports of a new pathologic and clinical entity under various titles, among which are giant follicular lymphadenopathy, follicular lymphoblastoma and giant lymph follicle hyperplasia of the lymph nodes and spleen. The interest of dermatologists has recently been aroused by the observation of Symmers1 that there are certain persons in whom there is a relation between universal chronic erythroderma and local or generalized enlargement of the superficial lymph nodes with the histologic characteristics of giant follicular lymphadenopathy and/or its immediate derivative, the polymorphous cell sarcoma of the lymphoid follicles.
