Abstract

A molybdenum(V) derivative of n-propyldiphenylphosphine imine, [MoCl₄(NPPrⁿPh₂)(OPPrⁿPh₂)], is formed by oxidation of the tertiary phosphine ligands of [MoCl₄(PPrⁿPh₂)₂] by p-tolylsulphonyl azide.
