Abstract
Of 41 clones of S. putrina collected in S. California, 26 constituted a variety containing 5 interbreeding mating types designated as types A, B, C, D, and E. 15 of the 41 clones tested failed to conjugate with any of the 26 clones men-tioned above and various attempts to get them to conjugate with each other also failed.Keywords
