Abstract

THE occurrence of an abdominal aortic aneurysm and associated Salmonella osteomyelitis of the spine seems of sufficient interest to warrant a report in some detail, together with autopsy findings.Case ReportI. P., a 69-year-old married Albanian dishwasher, was admitted to the hospital on November 10, 1945. He had apparently been in excellent health until 6 days before admission, when headaches, nausea and vomiting developed and the stools became loose but not watery.
