Abstract
In this paper, expressions to compute the upper and lower bounds on true values of the even- and odd-mode capacitances of covered coupled microstrips over anisotropic substrates are obtained by using the Fourier transform and the variational approach. The method provides accurate calculation and yields the margins of error in the computation. Some examples are shown. Keywords
