Results Obtained in an Extensive Tuberculosis Case Finding Program in a Large City

Abstract

During a period of 18 months, 114,831 tuberculin tests were reported by 705 physicians; of these tests 27.8% were positive. From 27,084 X-ray examinations, 633 verified cases of active tuberculosis were found, or about 2% of the positive reactors.
