Abstract
Absorption and photoionization coefficients of propylene and butene‐1 vapors have been measured by the photoelectric technique in the spectral region 1050–2000 A. Two Rydberg series were observed in propylene yielding series limits of 9.74 and 9.80 ev. From the photoionization coefficient curves ionization potentials of 9.73 and 9.80 ev were observed for propylene, and 9.58 ev for butene‐1.Keywords
