Abstract
Colorimetric and micro-scopic studies on cell fractions prepared after intraven. admn. of various azoproteins to mice reveal the intracellular azoprotein granules to be present predominantly in the "mitochondrial fraction." Staining and labeling procedures indicate that such granules are not labeled mitochondria. The results of different staining technics on mitochondrial fractions is discussed with regard to the homogeneity of these prepns. Keywords
