Abstract
Extract The occurrence of selenium-responsive myopathies in sheep, cattle, pigs, horses, and poultry in New Zealand has been reviewed by Hartley and Grant ( 1961 Hartley, W. J. and Grant, A. B. 1961. Fed.Proc., 20: 679–679. [Google Scholar] ). The present paper records a case of severe acute polymyopathy in a sheep dog and congenital myopathy in two litters of sheep dog pups, which resembled white muscle disease of hoggets and congenital white muscle disease of lambs. Keywords
