Abstract
The structures of the major sequiterpene of the wood of Pinus silvestris L. and of Swedish sulphate turpentine, [alpha]-muurolene as well as [gamma] -muurolene were revealed by spectral studies and chemical transformations. The structure of the hydrocarbon previously known as [epsilon]-cadinene has been revised and the name has been changed to [epsilon]-muurolene.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
