Abstract
Approximate but explicit expressions are obtained for the limiting forms at low and high temperatures of the three cluster integrals that comprise the fourth virial coefficient of a gas composed of molecules with Lennard-Jones (n, 1/2n) potentials. These expressions are compared with recent numerical integrations (for n=12) and are used to extend the temperature range over which there is now an adequate knowledge of this coefficient. Keywords
