Abstract
A microwave cavity spectroscope is described, which possesses a high sensitivity and resolution for the observation of the Zeeman effect of molecular absorption lines in the microwave frequency range. The theory of operation for this spectroscope and the criteria for sensitivity are formulated. Keywords
