Abstract
This article describes two spectrographs using image intensifier tubes for increased sensitivity. One spectrograph uses an echelle grating to give a resolution of about 0.10 nm and has all‐reflecting optics for use in the ultraviolet. It is usable over the range from 250 to >600 nm and covers about 150 nm on a 24×36 mm frame. The second spectrograph uses transmission optics of high optical speed and covers roughly the range from 400 to 760 nm on a 24 mm long frame with a resolution of about 2 nm.Keywords
