Agranulocytosis in patients treated with clozapine

Abstract
Granulocytopenia after clozapine has the same characteristics as phenothiazines. No local factor, either genetic or environmental, was found which was responsible for the increased frequency of occurrence in Finland. Awareness of the risk and weekly leukocyte counts in the 1st mo. is emphasized.
