Abstract
Thylakoid membranes isolated from the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. strain PCC6803 were capable of desaturating the acyl groups in monogalactosyl diacylglycerol. This desaturation reaction required the reduced form of ferredoxin.Keywords
