Abstract
The adsorption of methylene blue by dead yeast cells follows Freundlich''s law if total yeast concentration is not greater than about 3.5 g/l, and if the initial methylene blue concentration is 100 to 200 mg/l. New methods are described for determining the total yeast concentration and the percentage of dead cells in a suspension.Keywords
