Abstract
Hemorrhagic shock was induced in 3 series of dogs: controls; pretreatment with 0.5 mg/kg of dibenzyline; pre-treatment with mesenteric sympathectomy. Hemodynamic changes resulted from the mesenteric sympathectomy which mimicked those produced by dibenzyline pretreatment but which offered no significant improvement in survival when compared to the control series. Keywords
