Abstract
The magnitude, anisotropy, and temperature dependence of the for Nb are calculated from the underlying electronic structure. Excellent agreement between theory and experiment results if experimental Fermi velocities are used and if Fermi-velocity-anisotropy, strong-coupling, and impurity effects are included.
