Abstract
Patients with severe and refractory aplastic anemia who cannot be offered bone marrow transplantation and who do not respond to antilymphocyte globulin therapy represent a difficult therapeutic problem. We tried combined therapy with recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)* and cyclosporine in four patients with very severe aplastic anemia who had not responded to immunosuppressive therapy with antilymphocyte globulin and high-dose methylprednisolone. Keywords
