Dissipation in Computation

Abstract
The question of the energy dissipation in the computational process is considered. Contrary to previous studies, dissipation is found to be an integral part of computation. A complementarity is suggested between systems that are describable in thermodynamic terms and systems that can be used for computation.Keywords
