Binding energies of atomic systems by the Faddeev method. II

Abstract
For pt.I see ibid., vol.10L, p.269 (1977). The reduction of the Faddeev equations due to Ball et al. (1968) has been further applied to the calculation of ground-state energies of e+e+e-, H-, D-, He, Li+ and Be2+. The 2p and 3p Sturmian functions have been included in the expansion of the two-body amplitude. Closer agreement has been found with the experimental and variational results for He, Li+ and Be2+. Systems of unequal mass and the molecular ion H2+ are commented on.
