Morphological Characteristics of the Epididymal Adipose Tissue in Mice with Obesity Induced by Goldthioglucose

Abstract

The reactions of the epididymal adipose tissue were studied in mice with obesity induced by goldthioglucose. The increased caloric intake of these mice resulted in a more than 2-fold increase in the epididymal fat pad weight. The effect of hyperphagia was more pronounced in the subcutaneous adipose tissue.
