Abstract
In 185 rats with histories of oestrous regularity, the nasal mucosa was treated with one of several methods: electrical stimulation; stimulation by oleum sinapis; depressant of tannic acid, trichloracetic acid, nupercaine; Control animals received treatment orally. Oleum sinapis seemed to affect oestrous regularity, particularly in the follicular phase; tannic acid and trichloracetic acid produced prolonged di-estrous in 9 of 10 cases. Nupercaine produced pseudo-pregnancy in 58 of 115 cases. Electrical stimulation was discontinued because of inconclusive technic. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
