Abstract
Chondroitin sulfuric acid has been found to serve as a growth factor for the chick and rat. This material is not identical with the anti-dermatosis factor found in rice-polish filtrate. A 3% level of CSA was apparently optimal for growth in the basal ration used but did not prevent the occurrence of well-defined gizzard lesions. Keywords
