Abstract
Unrelated patients (73) with Behcet disease together with 33 members of 7 families with at least 2 patients per family were tissue typed for 26 antigens of the HL-A system. The patients with the complete type of Behcet disease had HL-A-B5 more significantly than healthy individuals. Family studies suggest that the genes closely linked to HL-A locus influence the degree of severity of Behcet disease. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
