A 16-year-old Iranian girl presented with the clinical features of systemic lupus erythematosus and pancytopenia. The pancytopenia was found to be due to myelofibrosis. Both the pancytopenia and marrow fibrosis were reversed by treatment with corticosteroids. Keywords
