Abstract
PERMANENT loss of vision from retinopathy may be a most serious sequel of prolonged chloroquine therapy. This complication, recognized only after a decade of use of this drug, is still not clearly delineated. In the early and intermediate stages there is a highly variable clinical expression, which has led to understandable confusion with other forms of retinal macular degeneration. Also, there has been a justifiable delay by those who have found chloroquine to be a valuable drug in accepting such an ill defined side effect. It is the purpose of this report to describe still another aspect of this disease . . .Keywords
