Abstract
A method is described for the determination of clenbuterol in equine urine. A previous publication (1) described the analytical determination of clenbuterol in the pharmaceutical gel formulation used in this study. The procedure includes the use of a commercial extraction column for sample cleanup. Separation was achieved using a cyano-type high performance liquid chromatographic column and an aqueous solvent containing isopropanol and sodium dodecylsulfate. The method is applicable within the concentration range of 2 to 100 ng/ml clenbuterol in equine urine. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
