Abstract
The spectral reflectance of the human skin was measured over the range 235-1000 m[mu]. The contribu-tion of skin fluorescence to the measured reflectance was investigated by the use of cut-off filters to eliminate the wave-lengths used to excite the fluorescence. The contribution due to fluorescence is small in absolute value although it may represent 10-20% of the low reflectances measured in the far UV.Keywords
