Abstract
The discovery of two members of the F series made it possible to obtain a fuller analysis of this spectrum. The following terms are located: 6S, 7S, 8S, 6P, 5D, 6D, 7D, 4F, 5F, 5G and 6G. Some thirty lines are classified. The deepest term, 4F, has an absolute value of approximately 296197 cm.−1 based upon the three S terms and the use of a Ritz formula, giving an ionization potential of 36.5 volts. Keywords
