Malignant primary neoplasms of the ear and temporal bone studied by high-resolution computed tomography.

Abstract

Ten patients with malignant primary neoplasms of the ear and temporal bone were examined with high-resolution computed tomography (CT) and the results correlated with the operative findings. CT was highly accurate in establishing the presence and extent of tumor and is recommended as the procedure of choice for preoperative treatment planning.
