Abstract
We present an alternative method for determining possible phase transitions and associated soft modes based on correlation criterion. This method avoids a free energy expansion. As an example, we have constructed a table of all possible phase transitions from D32d with translational indices 1, 2 and 4 showing space groups, soft mode symmetries and additional information gathered via Curie principle. Keywords
