Abstract
The absolute lack of correlation of oscillometric pulsations with blood flow through vessels is demonstrated. The pulsations obtained are shown to depend primarily on the operation of simple hydrodynamic laws. A modified technic for oscillometric examination which gives a qualitative measure of normal blood flow through vessels is suggested. Keywords
