Abstract
Center-of-mass coordinates are employed to determine the dependence on the masses of the particles of the energy and other physical properties of systems with three Coulombic particles (two identical). No adiabatic approximation is needed since the Hamiltonian with the exact mass dependence is used in the variational problem. The total angular momentum of the particles is quantized to unity. Both permutational symmetry states of odd parity are treated. The computations cover the entire range of the mass ratio as well as several different charges of the particles. In most cases the energies obtained are either the lowest yet found or the first to be reported. Keywords
