The venoms of Naja nigricollis, N. haja, N. naja, N. flava, and Sepedon haemachates were examined electrophoretically at pH 6.2 at 2[degree], and the diagrams presented. The neurotic and hemolytic activity is associated with the T component having a mobility of 6.4 X 10-5 cm2/sec./V. Ten different components were observed, and these had the same mobilities in the different venoms. The venom of S. haemachates was the least complex (4 components) and also least antigenic, while that of N. naja was most complex and also a superior antigen. Antigenicity may be a function of the mass of the T component.
