Abstract
Screen-printed Bi1.84Pb0.34Sr2.03Ca1.9Cu3.06O y superconducting thick films were prepared on MgO substrates from powder consisting almost entirely of the 110 K phase, and the thick film sandwiched between the two MgO substrates was further hot-pressed in air. Under the hot-pressing condition of 500 kg/cm2 at 855°C for 30 min, the T c and resistivity at 270 K were 105 K and 6.1×10-4 Ω·cm, respectively. The J c was 4800 A/cm2 at 77 K in zero magnetic field. The relationship between superconducting properties and hot-pressing conditions was examined. Keywords
