Abstract
An account is given of the derivation and validity of the following law relating coherence radius Ri in the image of an object with coherence radius R0: Ri = MR0 unless MR0 < rA, in which case Ri=rA, where M and rA are the magnification and Airy disc radius, respectively. Keywords
