Abstract
The nature of "positive response" to vit. E dosage is denned precisely, for purposes of quantitative tests, the virgin [female] albino rat being the test-animal. Submission of vit. E-deficient animals to a gestation-resorption significantly lowers the chances of implantation after the next positive mating. It also probably raises the vit. E threshold. The changes in implantation rate are clearly shown to follow the process of gestation-resorption and not to be due to extra "depletion" of vit. E during the period between the 1st and 2d matings. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
