The absence of evidence suggesting that systemic lupus erythematosus is a zoonosis of dogs

Abstract
The efficacy of orally administered ivermectin against Sarcoptes scabiei was investigated in pigs harbouring experimentally induced infections. Treatment at dosage rates of 300 and 500 microgram per kg body-weight provided 100% control as assessed by mite populations and clinical signs, while at a dose rate of 180 microgram per kg mite populations were substantially reduced but not eliminated.
