Abstract
The following new taxa belonging to the order Mucorales are described: Absidia pseudo-cylindrospora, A. cylindrospora var. rhizomorpha, Gongronella lacrispora, Rhizopus homothallicus, and Rhizopus sexualls var. americanus. The zygosporic stages of these new varieties and species are described with the exception of A. pseudocylindrospora and G. lacrispora. In addition, the zygosporic stage of Circinella angarensis (Schost.) Zycha is described for the first time. Conditions for the formation of zygospores for Zygorhynchus macrocarpus Ling-Young are reported, and this species is determined to be distinct from all other known species of Zygorhynchus. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
