Abstract
Hyperin-sulinism always produces encephalopathy. This may range from very mild to very severe, and the cerebral changes may be reversible or irreversible. In 5 cases reported the results ranged from apparently complete reversal of severe encephalopathy to instances of irreversible damage or death. In one case autopsy revealed extensive neuronal and glial changes. Keywords
