Abstract
Occult spinal dysraphism is a clinical syndrome relating defects of the spinal cord and cauda equina with spina bifida occulta. The further association of sacral agenesis with intradural lipoma of the sacral region is reported. Myelography should be performed in any child with a neurological abnormality of the lower extremities and a sacral anomaly. Sacral deformity with evidence of an intraspinal tumor should arouse suspicion of a lipoma. Two cases of intradural lipoma associated with sacral agenesis are presented, and the clinical and roentgen diagnoses of these lesions are discussed. Keywords
