Abstract
The severity of coronary atherosclerosis was estimated by the methods of Gore and Tejada on 232 consecutively autopsied cases observed at the Department of Medicine, Tokyo University Hospital. Comparing these results with the reports of Gore et al., the mean value of atherosclerotic indices was found to be far lower in Sapporo and Fukuoka, Japan than in Boston, USA.Keywords
