Abstract
N-terminal protein analysis demonstrated that the enzymatic activity of thrombin on fibrinogen is not influenced by dextran and ficoll. Both these substances have a strong precipitating effect on fibrin and fibrinogen. Their fibrinoplastic effect is reduced by Ca and plasma proteins. In native plasma and blood, dextran has only slight fibrinoplastic effect.Keywords
