Studies on Human Antibodies

Abstract
Summary: Six antibodies produced in one individual and anti-dextran formed in different individuals were compared with myeloma globulins in acrylamide gel electrophoresis. They were examined in their intact form as well as after reduction and alkylation. The findings indicate that antibodies and myeloma globulins represent fairly highly selected populations relative to normal γG immunoglobulin, with respect to their banding in acrylamide gel.
