Abstract
The accuracy of measurement of temperature and particularly temperature distribution in current heated wires can be considerably improved by using semiconducting light‐sensitive resistors as a pyrometer. They feature almost exponential dependence of their resistivity on temperature of the hot wire and insensitivity against changes in ambient temperature. Keywords
