Abstract
Primary biopsies from 52 patients with cancer of the larynx were examined by 2 pathologists working independently. The malignancy of each case was graded twice with an interval of 1-1 1/2 mo. according to a histological scoring system elaborated by Jacobsson. The reproducibility of the system was poor for individual prognostic purposes. No connection between histological grade and clinical course was demonstrated. Keywords
