Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 53-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of a pulmonary infiltrate.Between six and 16 years of age he had had severe bronchial asthma. He began to smoke cigarettes at the age of 16 years and consumed two packages daily thereafter. A chronic nonproductive cough developed. Four years before admission mild hypertension was found; no treatment was prescribed. Two years before entry an x-ray film of the chest was normal. One year later he began to cough up thick, greenish-yellow sputum. Two weeks before admission he noticed tenderness of the left nipple, which was followed . . .
